Sr. Interaction Designer - Boulder, Colorado area
Position Description
This position will work with product managers and developers to create user experiences that innovate, are highly usable, enhance user satisfaction and have significant impact to the business.
Position Responsibilities
• Observe users and conduct interviews, ethnography and task analysis.
• Develop concepts using critical thinking, root cause analysis and solid UI design skills.
• Develop user scenarios and personas to model user types, actions, goals and expectations
• Rapid prototyping and ideation using wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboarding and paper prototypes.
• Conduct usability studies of prototype designs and existing interfaces.
• Collaborate with graphic specialists to support visual style standards.
• Document form and behavior and develop functional interaction specifications.
• Be willing to travel as necessary.
Basic Qualifications
BS and 5-10 years professional design experience practicing a user-centered design methodology.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Candidates must have strong presentation, verbal and written skills. Experienced with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, Flash. Creative with a strong, clean visual design sense and extremely detail oriented.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
BS or MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or related field. Medical device product development experience highly desirable.
